Without automation, many of the things you enjoy in your life would not be available or would perhaps not function as good as it does today. For example, automation helps us get clean water, helps transport oil and gas so we can keep our cars running and the food in our fridge cold. Most factories today, including food, toys, cars, and electronics, use automation to safely and fast produce their products.

Automation also helps create really cool stuff like roller-coaster and the big water and amusement park shows you might have visited.

What's also cool about automation is that it helps save people! Pharmaceutical companies that make medicine, use automation in their production to ensure that the medicine is mixed properly. Some cars have built-in systems that can sense if a car has been in an accident and automatically call for help.
